The event will be held on October 12, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Morro Shores Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, 633 Ramona Avenue in Los Osos. Board Member and long-time volunteer, Pat Brown, will present the story of how the Elfin Forest came to be a County Park and nature preserve. Board Member Skip Rotstein will present a short video “Mammals of the Elfin Forest” that was “captured” on the edge of the Elfin Forest using his trail cameras. Following the presentations will be a short business meeting. Parking is available on the north side of Ramona Avenue next to Sweet Springs Nature Preserve. |
